At Lily’s housewarming party, Vanessa witnesses the more vulnerable side of Chuck and the two bond briefly. She’s embarrassed, however, when she learns it was all Blair’s ploy, and turns her back on them both. During Jenny’s guerrilla fashion show, Vanessa spots Nate and Jenny kissing. She feels betrayed by both of them, since she still had feelings for Nate and since she and Jenny were such close friends.

Vanessa and Nate make plans to travel Europe together over summer break.
